Published poet and commissioned screenwriter, Kelly is the author of two books: All The Girls and Observations of a Sometimes Stiletto-Wearing But Mostly Fleeced-Out Working Mom on the Outskirts of Manhattan. Her first album, “From There to Here”, was honored by the New York Songwriters Circle and she released her second album, “Spring Has Thrown a Rope”, in June of 2010.
In addition, Kelly is an advertising writer/creative director. Over her fifteen year career she has worked on broadcast, print and interactive for agencies: Y&R, KBS&P, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB Needham, Ogilvy & Mather, J. Walter Thompson, Hal Riney, FCB and Lowe and others for clients: Olay, Crest, Old Spice and Head & Shoulders, Oreo, Chips Ahoy, Jell-O, Subway, Gatorade, Suave, Clairol, Serta, Sears, and Chase Banks. She has received many awards in addition to being featured multiple times in Archive and Communication Arts.
She is the co-editor of Mason's Road literary journal and working on her first chapbook of poetry as well as a collection of essays. She freelances and is pursuing her MFA in Poetry and Creative Non-Fiction. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, two boys and two dogs. Her work can viewed at her company, ‘PancakeFaktory.com’.
